As the weather cools after the summer we thought it would be nice to focus on a shade loving plant which will add an elegant touch to the garden.  The Japanese anemone is an easy to grow perennial which likes dappled shade.  The anemone we have chosen is Anemone x hybrida ‘Honorine Jobert’, a lovely variety which grows to around 90cm and will slowly spread.

Good partners include white Geranium and Hellebores, we also like to group them with taller grasses such as Miscanthus for a slightly more contemporary feel.
