This large front garden in Colchester presented a challenge as it was the main garden to the property and incorporated the driveway. The materials used were inspired by the style and age of the house – sawn Yorkstone paving and red brick pavers gave a very traditional feel. A low, curving wall divides the planted borders and provides structure and interest.

Planting in the gravel gives the new garden a more relaxed feel and suits the drought tolerant nature of the plants.
